Prerequisite: Teacher recommendation and/or an 90 or above in Honors Pre-Calculus or successful completion of Advanced Placement Calculus A
Grades 9-12: Geometry
This course builds on Algebra I to develop understanding of geometric relationships and reasoning. Students explore relationships among points, lines, planes, and figures. The course progresses from foundational concepts of the geometric plane to the study of triangles, polygons, and circles, applying postulates and theorems to solve real-world problemsGraphing technology and introductory trigonometry are integrated to deepen understanding and strengthen problem-solving skills.
