GEHRHSD has expanded the Culinary Arts program partnering with Atlantic Cape Community College. Students who successfully complete at least three years of the GEHRHSD culinary courses will receive articulated credit with Atlantic Cape’s Culinary Program.

The Art of Cooking is the first course in our Culinary Arts pathway program. This course is for students in grades 9-12, the course focuses specifically on sanitation, safety, weights and measures, food preparation, technology, consumerism, and nutrition. Course content involves the basic concepts of food preparation, meal planning, shopping, basic skills instruction and critical thinking skills. ART OF COOKING Grades 9-12, 5 Credits
