Honors Algebra I students who earn a trimester grade of at least 90% and receive a teacher recommendation may double up in Honors Geometry and Honors Algebra II/Trigonometry the following year if their goal is to take a Calculus course during their high school experience.

ALGEBRA I Grades 9-12, 5 Credits

This course focuses on the study of linear, quadratic, and exponential functions, along with data analysis and real-world applications. Students develop problem-solving and reasoning skills through modeling, interpreting graphs, and analyzing patterns. Emphasis is placed on building a strong foundation for future math courses, including Geometry and Algebra II.
